No More Bullies,

No More Victims

The program has a three-pronged approach. Facilitators meet with faculty and staff of the institution for a session designed to discuss bullying in their school and to begin to strategize ways to prevent and respond to related problems and consequences. A parent workshop is also organized to address the same issues as the faculty/staff meeting, but from a parent's perspective.

The third prong is the student workshops. These workshops remind students of their rights as individuals and the rights of others in bullying situations, as well as solicit student opinions of bullying in school.

Skills that are stressed include conflict resolution and methods to de-escalate bullying behaviors should kids be faced with a threatening situation. This program may only be presented to organizations which have already participated in Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) workshops.

The "No More Bullies, No More Vicitms" program is a comprehensive strategy to help school communitites develop or update bullying policies, to train adults in appropriate intervention strategies, and to improve student skills relating to the problems and consequences associated with bullying.

All workshops are presented in the classroom with a teacher present.
